We’re starting to smell a new celebrity trend.Abercrombie & Fitch is claiming in court that Beyonce Knowles’ recently-announced “Sasha Fierce” perfume violates the trademark of the company’s “Fierce” line of perfumes. Beyonce is being sued in Ohio District Court by A&F, which claims to have spent $3 million to outfit its stores with scent machines.
The celebrity fragrance game must surely be a lucrative endeavor. Heidi Klum, Nicole Kidman, and Jennifer Lopez are just some of the celebrities to have launched a brand only to have to appear in court to protect the sanctity of their scent.
