Bravo is broadening its original Web content offerings in the summer with the launch this month of four new Web-exclusive series focusing on fashion and food, the network said Tuesday.
While three of the new series are extensions of Bravo network shows — one from “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” and two originating from the popular “Top Chef” series — another utilizes the fashion sense that YouTube personality William Sledd has previously shared online.
“We’re really ramping up our online original efforts, tapping both Bravo’s buzziest personalities and those we’ve found on the Web,” said Jason Klarman, executive vp marketing and digital for Bravo, who made Tuesday’s announcement.
In “My Life on the Z-List: Jen’s Vlog,” comedian Billy Eichner reprises the role of fashion maven Jen that he previously played — only this time Jen will be sharing her trend-setting perspectives through a video blog broadcast live from her cubicle at Bravo’s New York offices. The series launched Tuesday with new episodes available online at www.BravoTV.com every Tuesday.
Launching Wednesday on the site will be “Top Chef” online spin-offs “Miami Spice: Hot Recipes With Latin Flavor” and for the second season “Top Recipe: The Wong Way to Cook.” Both feature selected recipes and focus on culinary creations.
Sledd will bring his YouTube’s “Ask a Gay Man” to the network’s OUTzoneTV.com this month, offering vlogs tackling tricky fashion topics with new episodes available weekly.
