Buchwald is expanding into film and TV sport content after signing a strategic alliance with CSE, a leading sports and media agency.
Unlike rival Hollywood talent agencies that increasingly bring top stars from the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball on their books for representation, Buchwald is looking to work with CSE and its agency clients to develop content across platforms that include film, TV, branding and podcasting.
CSE represents top sports and news talent like pro soccer goalkeeper Hope Solo, Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz, Turner Sports and CBS Sports sportscaster Ernie Johnson Jr. and former basketball player and CBS Sports college basketball analyst Clark Kellogg, among others.
“In the evergrowing media and marketing landscape, we are thrilled to join forces with CSE. By merging our reputable entertainment client initiatives with CSE’s respected athletes, coaches and journalists, we will create multi-faceted brands and greater creative opportunities for our clients,” Buchwald co-heads Julia Buchwald and Ryan Martin said in a joint statement.
Founded by Lonnie Cooper in 1986, CSE as a sports and media talent representation agency has offices in Atlanta, Miami, New York, Orlando and Richmond.
“This exciting partnership affords our elite sports, news and entertainment talent even greater resources in developing original content,” said Danny Martoe, CSE President, in his own statement.
