The Cartoon Network has signed a development deal with Hong Kong-based Artificial Life to develop games for mobile devices based on the channel’s popular Adult Swim late-night programming.
“Cartoon Network owns a vast portfolio of renowned brands, which are very appealing to the young audience of wireless customers globally,” noted Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, which specializes in mobile 3G applications. The Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block targets the 18-34 demographic with shows such as “Harvey Birdman,” “The Venture Brothers,” “Tom Goes to the Mayor” and “Space Ghost.”
