There has been a casting change on NBC’s sophomore cop drama “Southland.”
Amaury Nolasco, tapped in August as a new regular, has departed after filming three episodes.
Clifton Collins has been added to fill the void.
Nolasco played the aggressive new partner of Det. Lydia Adams (Regina King), who drives her crazy.
Collins will play a new character, Ray Suarez, who is still being fleshed out. He recently appeared in “Star Trek,” “Crank: High Voltage” and “Extract.”
