Public relations firms CineMedia Promotions and White Bear PR, led by Beth Krakower and Chandler Poling respectively, are merging together to form the new company Krakower Poling PR.
The company will continue to work with a strong client roster of film and television composers, including Rolfe Kent (Dexter), Bear McCreary (Outlander, The Walking Dead) and Lalo Schifrin (Mission Impossible). Other clients include Joseph Trapanese, Dave Porter, Cliff Martinez, John Lunn, Paul Haslinger, Jeremy Zuckerman, Benjamin Wynn, Marcelo Zarvos, Miriam Cutler and Laura Karpman.
“Having worked with Beth on several campaigns over the last few years, we realized how much we complement each other in our strategies and that a merge was the natural synergy effect that will ultimately benefit our clients and will also open new avenues in public relations,” says Poling.
In addition to marketing for film scores, cast albums, video games, music festivals and soundtrack recordings, Krakower Poling PR also will specialize in representing music supervisors, as they’ve done with past clients Season Kent (The Fault in Our Stars) and Gabe Hilfer (Black Swan).
“Between the advent of new media and the increase in opportunities, the film music business has become an international one. Together Chandler and I are able to offer our composer clients everything from traditional publicity and radio promotions to social media marketing. We can also help with placing soundtrack projects and securing performance and speaking engagements around the world,” says Krakower.
