What: Comedy Central Emmy party
Where: STK in West Hollywood
Food: Corn pudding was a standout on the buffet line, while finger foods included mahi mahi satay and spicy tuna tartar.
Decor: Classy but nothing too “theme”-y. There were Comedy central pillows on the couches and comedy central candles on the tables — essentially, a swank restaurant space with the tables cleared out for mingling.
Entertainment: The DJ played an odd mix, including more than one visit from the Doobie Brothers.
Highlights: Celebs included Comedy Central newcomer David Allen Grier, “South Park” co-creator Matt Stone, roast king Jeffrey Ross, “Daily Show’s” John Hodgman, Rob Riggle, Wyatt Cenac and John Oliver, “Sarah Silverman Show” co-star Laura Silverman, “Reno 911!’s” Nicey Nash, actor Gregg Pitts and Aisha Tyler.
