Crackle, the Sony-owned Web-based content company, said Wednesday that magician-comic Penn Jillette is set to star in an unscripted series for the Internet site debuting Jan. 9. “Penn Says,” a series of one- to three-minute videos delivered at least four times a week on Crackle, will feature Jillette recording rants on subjects ranging from politics to celebrities to the hottest news events of the day.
The series also will be interactive as viewers will have the opportunity to respond and to receive Penn’s feedback by posting their video reactions or comments on the site. “Penn Says,” created by Jillette, is a 10-in-1 production distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
