HONG KONG — India’s DQ Entertainment has won a contract to produce and supply a second season of animated TV series “The Penguins of Madagascar,” a spin off from the DreamWorks movie “Madagascar,” for Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
The Hyderabad-based DQ previously delivered the first series of “Penguins” and short-form series “Tak” for Nickelodeon and is now also producing “Fan Boy and Chum Chum.”
Delivery of the new series is scheduled for 2011.
