Vivendi has named Sandrine Dufour chairman of its mobile entertainment unit, the French media conglomerate said Friday. Dufour will take over for Robert de Metz, who recently left the company, and she will continue to serve as the company’s deputy CFO.
Dufour was formerly special advisor to Vivendi’s CFO, CFO of VU Net and was the company’s senior vp, internal audit and special projects. In the ’90s, she was a financial analyst at BNP and headed the telecommunications sector at brokerage firm CAI Cheuvreux.
