John Edwards has joined the two front-runners for the Democratic presidential nomination in support of the WGA strike.
“The members are fighting an important battle to protect their creative rights,” the former North Carolina senator said Tuesday. “These writers deserve to be compensated fairly for their work, and I commend their courage in standing up to big media conglomerates.”
Sens. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., expressed support for strikers Monday.
