Emily Vespa is joining Kovert Creative as the latest hire in the firm’s talent department.
The hiring brings Vespa — previously known by maiden name Emily Yomtobian — back into the industry full-time after taking a breather to focus on family after marrying celebrity photographer Jeff Vespa. She will focus on personal talent representation at Kovert, where she’s reunited with CEO Lewis Kay with whom she worked at PMK*BNC. Her resume also includes stints at PMK/HBH and Patricola-Lust PR.
Vespa previously represented Shay Mitchell, Ginnifer Goodwin and Cat Deeley, among others, and was part of the client teams for high-profile clients like Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson and Eva Mendes. “I’m so excited to be returning to the ever-evolving entertainment landscape,” she says about the new gig. “While I was out of the business day-to-day, I never stopped watching closely what was going on within the industry. I’m so thrilled to be part of the Kovert team that Lewis and the group have built.”
Kay said he’s thrilled to welcome Vespa to the growing Kovert team, adding, “We know and respect the work she’s done throughout her career, and we are eager to welcome her back to work full-time.” His compay’s talent roster includes Awkwafina, Tiffany Haddish, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black, Wanda Sykes, Amy Poehler, Zach Braff, Nicole Byer, and digital creators like MrBeast, Mark Rober and Markaplier. Clients on the brand side include Makers Mark, Xbox, The Ringer, Microsoft, El Tesoro and Courvoisier.
