Lionsgate has renewed its multiyear movie-output deal with Entertainment One for Canada, Australia and Spain.
The new agreement, to run through 2018, covers Lionsgate and Summit movie titles in Canada and Spain and Summit films in Australia.
Roadshow Pictures continues to release Lionsgate titles, including the Hunger Games franchise, in Australia.
The release slate includes the next two installments of The Hunger Games franchise, the next three Divergent films and Now You See Me 2.
Toronto-based eOne launched The Hunger Games, Twilight and Divergent franchises in all three territories.
The distribution deal renewal was unveiled by Lionsgate motion picture group co-chairs Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman, Lionsgate COO International Andrew Kramer and Patrice Theroux, head of eOne’s global film business.
