Eric “The Actor” Lynch, a frequent guest on Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM radio show, has died. He was 39.

His manager, Johnny Fratto, posted the news of Lynch’s death Sunday afternoon on Twitter:

SiriusXM also confirmed his death:

Fratto told TMZ that Lynch died at a hospital in Sacramento on Saturday afternoon surrounded by friends and family. The cause of his death is unclear.

Lynch, a member of Stern’s “Wack Pack,” was also known as “Eric the Midget.” Standing 3 feet tall, he used a motorized wheelchair to get around. He was in poor health but often claimed to have outlived doctors’ predictions for his life expectancy.
Since 2002, Lynch has been calling in to Stern’s show, where he was known to yell at the host. He most recently called in last week, when he revealed that his parents were taking over caretaking duties from Fratto because the latter was moving.

As an actor, Lynch had a handful of guest spots on TV series, including In Plain Sight, Fringe and American Dreams.
