Barbara Vander Linde has been appointed vp creative at Disney Music Publishing, where she will be responsible for activities relating to the company’s creative roster. She will report to senior vp and GM Julie Enzer. Vander Linde joins Disney from Rondor Music International/Universal Music Publishing Group, where she was GM of creative. Also at Disney Music Publishing, Louise Black has been promoted to executive director of licensing, where she will manage synchronization licensing and oversee marketing for Disney’s song catalog. Black, who joined Disney in 2004, most recently was director of licensing.
Paul Gilbert has been appointed senior vp international formats at CBS Paramount International Television, where he will oversee sales, production, acquisitions and development of the library of formats for license outside of the U.S. Gilbert was vp international program development and format sales as Sony Pictures Television.
Marc Hernandez has been named vp advertising sales at Revver, where he will manage the company’s advertising sales operations and help develop new sponsorship packages to align brands and content. Most recently, Hernandez was head of the entertainment vertical division at Tribal Fusion.
Disney-ABC Domestic Television has promoted Curtis Pace to vp Midwest region sales and Shelby Mason to vp Western region sales. Pace, who will be based in Chicago, will manage first-run off-net and theatrical sales for broadcast syndication in the Midwestern region. Mason, who will work in the Burbank offices, will be responsible for programming sales for broadcast syndication in the Western region and report to Rich Iazzetta, West senior vp and GM.
Rick Stevens has been named interim president and CEO at Diga Entertainment, where he will report to chairman Rich Gaccione. Stevens, who will assist the board in selecting a permanent, full-time CEO, will continue to serve as chairman and CEO at Record Plant Incorporated.
Pam Workman has been upped to GM and vp publicity at JLM PR, where she will manage the direction of the company while overseeing national accounts and handling new business development. Workman previously was a publicity director there.
Samantha Maltin has been promoted to senior vp integrated marketing and partnership at Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. Maltin, who most recently was vp at Viacom Brand Solutions, will oversee the development of global partnerships and the expansion and execution of all promotion marketing efforts. She also will manage relationships among Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group assets, Nickelodeon’s digital assets and such partners as movie studios, Mattel, Hasbro, Procter & Gamble, Chrysler, Nintendo, Kraft and General Mills.
PorchLight Entertainment has promoted Brenda Bisner to vp acquisitions, children’s programming, overseeing the acquisition of children’s programming for the company’s international distribution and home entertainment divisions. Bisner most recently was director of acquisitions, digital media, where she helped launch the family-friendly Web site KidVideos.com.
Lesli Lawrence has been named vp theatrical advertising at Crew Creative. Lawrence, who was vp print creative advertising at Fox Broadcasting, will work closely with clients while managing the agency’s theatrical campaign business.
