TORONTO — Norma Reveler, a longtime contributor to The Hollywood Reporter, died Thursday in Ottawa after a long battle with skin cancer. She was 46.
Reveler served as THR’s Tokyo correspondent from 1992 to 1998, then returned to Canada to cover the national film and TV industry from Ottawa.
She was most recently the editor of Canadian Communications Reports and a contributor to Cartt.ca, a telecom and broadcasting industry publication.
Despite her advancing illness, Reveler was on hand to cover the recent Banff World Television Festival in mid-June.
Reveler is survived by her husband, Will Butler. A funeral service is set for Monday in Ottawa.
