Glenn Beck has been dealing with serious health issues for five years, he revealed Monday.
The conservative commentator said he has been experiencing crushing phantom pain in his limbs and seizures. He began forgetting details of where and when he met people he knew. At one point, doctors gave him a test designed for people with traumatic brain injuries and discovered he was functioning in the bottom 10 percent.

“I was told I would have somewhere between five and ten years before I would no longer be able to function,” he told Monday’s audience on his network TheBlaze.
He went from doctor to doctor, but was not provided with a diagnosis.
“I could usually sleep two-to-four hours a night. The great thing about it was I was never timed. The doctors tell me that up until recently I haven’t really had any real REM sleep in maybe as much as a decade.”
At times he felt like someone had put glass into his hands and feet.
“I honestly thought I was crazy at the time, because I had this phantom pain, and it was like somebody had just broken my arm and I swore it was real,” he said.
Beck finally went to Carrick Brain Centers, a rehab center in Texas, which was able to provide him with a diagnosis.
“We went, and after a few short visits they found that I had several things going on — from an autoimmune disorder to adrenal fatigue, and they found the connection on everything that was going on.”
Beck said his body is no longer making cortisol or adrenaline, but that his doctors have given him a “clean bill of health.”
“After months of treatment and changing the way I eat, sleep, work and live…I have reversed the process.”
