DAVIES BABY: Michael Davies, president of production company Embassy Row (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire), got a unique present on his birthday, March 3. Davies and his wife, Claude, a documentary producer, welcomed their first son, George MacIntyre, at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. George, who weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, joins Davies’ three other children: Brea, 19 (Michael’s from a previous relationship), Justine, 6, and Ingrid, 5.

DEATHS
Mike DeStefano, a Last Comic Standing finalist last season, died March 6 of a massive heart attack. He was 44.
Edward Stephenson died Feb. 28 at his home in Hollywood Hills. The Emmy-winning producer and art director had pneumonia and Alzheimer’s disease. He was 94.
British film and television director Charles Jarrott died March 4 of prostate cancer at the Motion Picture & Television Fund retirement community in Woodland Hills. Jarrott, best known for the costume dramas Anne of the Thousand Days and Mary, Queen of Scots, was 83.
