Michael Gough, 1916-2011: The British actor, best known for playing butler Alfred Pennyworth in the films Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin, died March 17 after being sick for the past year. Michael Keaton paid tribute to his Batman and Batman Returns co-star in a statement to THR, writing: “To Mick — my butler, my confidant, my friend, my Alfred. I love you. God bless.” Gough was 94.

Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Ferlin Husky died March 17 of heart disease in Nashville. The “Wings of a Dove” and “Gone” singer, whom Elvis Presley once opened for, was 85.
