GERSH-FRANKLIN WEDDING: Gersh talent agent Steven Gersh married Christina Franklin on May 29 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in front of 250 friends and family. Franklin wore a strapless gown designed by Augusta Jones, and the evening was put together by event planner Carleen Cappelletti. “It was an amazing day to complete an incredible weekend,” Gersh, who plans to honeymoon in August in Bora Bora after Franklin takes the California bar exam, tells THR.

DEATHS
Gunsmoke actor James Arness, 88, who played Marshal Matt Dillon on TV for 20 seasons, died June 3.
The Cosby Show actress Clarice Taylor, who played Bill Cosby’s TV mother on the show, died May 30 of heart failure. Taylor, who also appeared on Sesame Street for 14 years, was 93.
Special effects artist and producer Harry Redmond Jr. died May 23 at his Hollywood Hills home. Redmond, who worked on King Kong and The Stranger, was 101.
Singer-songwriter Andrew Gold, who penned the Golden Girls theme song “Thank You for Being a Friend,” died June 3 of a heart attack in Los Angeles. He was 59.
