The Hollywood and Highland Metro station was shut down after two suspicious and unattended packages were found, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Sgt. Pauline Panis told THR that the packages forced an immediate evacuation of the surrounding area, and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department bomb squad was sent to the scene. Streets, including Hollywood Blvd., were closed to traffic near the station.
