Getty Images has partnered with The Hollywood Reporter and will be the publication’s exclusive visual content provider, it was announced by vp global entertainment Roxanne Motamedi on Wednesday.
The agreement will see Getty Images in the role of official credentialed photographer for The Hollywood Reporter and its style site Pret-a-Reporter and preferred credentialed photographer for Billboard. The leading photo agency will provide all partner sites with photo coverage of awards shows, red carpet premieres and other entertainment events.
“The partnership between Getty Images and The Hollywood Reporter brings together two very well-known brands that have extraordinary compatibility,” Motamedi shared in a statement. “The Hollywood Reporter is one of the entertainment industry’s most respected and prestigious publications with a very talented group of journalists and Getty Images has many of the world’s most prominent photographers who have captured some of the most outstanding and memorable photos from show business from around the globe.”
Jennifer Laski, photo and video director for The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard, said, “As the entertainment and music industry’s flagship media brands, it makes perfect sense for The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard to partner with Getty Images, the leader in entertainment photography. We are excited to enter this partnership as we head into awards season and look forward to the coverage we can produce together.”
