Telefilm Canada will screen the latest edition of its Perspective Canada Showreel, and the U.K. Film Council will present its New Cinema Fund Showcase on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23, respectively, as part of IFP’s 31st annual Independent Film Week, running Sept. 19-24 in New York.
Both screenings are by invitation only and restricted to registered industry attending the IFP event.
“IFP is pleased to provide a platform in the U.S. for two of our longest-standing international partners to present excerpts from soon-to-be-completed work to buyers and festival programmers attending IFP’s Independent Film Week,” said Michelle Byrd, IFP executive director.
Both Telefilm Canada and the U.K. Film Council’s New Cinema Fund are partners on IFP’s annual No Borders International Co-Production Market, which is held during Independent Film Week.
