The Weinstein Co. and Exodus Film Group have announced a nationwide promotional program with CKE Restaurants, which owns Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, to help market the October release of their CG-animated film “Igor.”
More than 3,000 of the company restaurants throughout the U.S. will participate in the promotion, which will be part of CKE’s Cool Kids Combos meal program and include four custom-designed “Igor” premiums, in-store displays and an online campaign with Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s Cool Kids Web sites.
“Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s feature great food for the whole family, yet they take a wonderfully irreverent approach to their advertising,” Exodus CEO John Eraklis said. “They are the perfect promotional partner for ‘Igor.’ “
