Jeremy Thomas, the Oscar-winning producer of “The Last Emperor,” will serve as keynote speaker at Film Independent’s 5th annual Filmmaker Forum, set for the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles from Oct. 9-11.
The three-day event will kick off with a screening of John Hillcoat’s “The Road.”
Rebecca Yeldham, Film Independent’s festival director, will moderate the conversation with Thomas, whose credits also include “Naked Lunch,” “Sexy Beast” and “Rabbit-Proof Fence.”
