Veteran industry executive Bob Flood has been named to a key position at Fox News and Fox Business Network.
Flood was named vp integrated sales and insights for the company and will sell its TV and digital assets as well as oversee the business channel’s Dow Jones partnership and advertising vehicles. He will report to Paul Rittenberg, senior vp advertising sales at Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.
Flood was senior vp at MTV Networks and for three years was executive vp, director of electronic media and chief strategist at media buyer Optimedia International.
He also has been a network buyer at DFS-Dorland, a network supervisor at N.W. Ayer and associate director of national broadcast and vp national broadcast at DeWitt Media.
“Bob has flourished everywhere he has worked, and I expect he’ll be a great help to us in continuing to grow our business in 2008,” Rittenberg said.
