A man was stabbed in the chest outside the Times Square Disney Store after a dispute turned violent, according to reports.
The victim was knifed near Seventh Avenue and West 46th Street in New York around 2 p.m. and taken to Bellevue Hospital, the NYPD and FDNY have confirmed to multiple news outlets.
His injuries are not life-threatening, according to a police spokesperson.
The 43-year-old victim was wearing a grey bandana, according to DNAinfo.
According to witnesses, the two men were fighting and one was swinging a chair before blood was spilled.
For an hour after the incident, police tape temporarily blocked the entrances to the Disney Store and MAC Cosmetics on Seventh Avenue between 45th and 46th streets, according to DNAinfo.
Police are still searching for the attacker, a police spokesperson confirmed.
The alleged stabber was wearing a grey jacket and black jeans, the New York Post reported. He’s believed to be in his 40s and ran south on Seventh Avenue to 45th Street, DNAinfo says.
