Mindy Kaling has left UTA. She will remain agent-less for the time being.
While at UTA, Kaling signed a two-year deal with NBC and Universal in 2009 to keep her as a writer and supporting castmember on The Office, and also to develop a comedy that eventually became her starring vehicle The Mindy Project, now in its sophomore season on Fox. In 2011 UTA helped Kaling re-up her NBC deal, which promoted her to executive producer for The Office’s final two seasons.
Kaling continues to be managed by 3 Arts.
