Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones and Nancy Wilson were among a group of performers who gathered Saturday at a Toronto concert hall for a musical farewell to Canadian jazz pianist Oscar Peterson, who died Dec. 23.
“He’s on his second journey. The first is birth, and the second is death,” Hancock said.
