Viewers flocked Saturday to NBC Sports’ coverage of the Jacksonville Jaguars-Pittsburgh Steelers face-off.
The NFL Wild Card game scored a strong 16.7 rating/27 share in metered-market households.
That is the highest metered-market results on any network since the finale of “American Idol” on May 23, 2007 on Fox and the best overnight rating for an NFL Wild Card Saturday in four years.
Final ratings for the game will be available early this week.
