USA Network is close to handing a series order to “Royal Pains.”
The hourlong show from the Firm stars Mark Feuerstein as Hank Lawson, an ex-ER doctor who becomes the on-call doctor for the rich denizens of the Hamptons.
Jace Alexander directed the pilot for “Pains,” which was written byAndrew Lenchewski. Rich Frank and Paul Frank executive produce the project, with Lenchewski co-exec producing and John Rogers producing.
“Pains” is one of three cast-contingent 90-minute pilots USA Network greenlighted this summer, along with “White Collar” and “Operating Instructions.”
The other two are now in final stages of casting. (partialdiff)
