The cast of New Line’s “Hairspray” will be honored an Ensemble Performance Award at the 19th annual Palm Spings Film Festival’s Awards Gala, to be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Jan. 4. Cast members including John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Allison Janney, Zac Efron and Nikki Blonsky and others are expected to attend the fest, which will hold a free, outdoor, sing-along screening of the musical, sponsored by Netflix, on Jan. 4 at Palm Spring’s Sunrise Park.
