Participant has elevated Laura Kim to evp of marketing to focus on the company’s independent and international projects that span bother series and features.
The publicity veteran first joined Participant in 2014, and has since worked on campaigns for titles that include the Oscar-winning American Factory, Spotlight and Citizefour. Most recently, she’s spearheading marketing efforts, for the Oscar-nominated doc Collective, as well as Sundance Film Festival ttle My Name Is Pauli Murray, which was picked up by Amazon out of the 2021 fest.
Kim will report to Christina Kounelias, Participant’s president of worldwide marketing.
Prior to joining Participant, Kim was principal and founder of Inside Job, working on campaigns for Winter’s Bone, The Act of Killing, and Gloria, among others.
