VANCOUVER — Veteran Vancouver movie producer William Vince has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 44.
As the founder and president of Vancouver-based Infinity Features, Vince’s other producer credits include “The Snow Walker,” “Saved!” “Just Friends,” “Stone of Destiny” and the upcoming “Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.”
Before launching Infinity in 2000, Vince produced the “Airbud” films for Keystone Pictures.
His 2005 feature “Capote” received five Oscar nominations and earned Philip Seymour Hoffman the trophy for best actor.
