LAS VEGAS — Freshman talker “Rachael Ray” has been renewed for two more seasons, meaning the hourlong strip will be on the air through 2009-10. CBS Television Distribution said Tuesday that the show has been renewed in one-third of the country on stations from CBS, including the O&Os in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Boston, Miami and Denver; Gannett Broadcasting; Post-Newsweek; Scripps Howard; McGraw-Hill; and Evening Telegram. In addition, Entertainment Studios chairman and CEO Byron Allen said his freshman half-hour comedy strip “Comics Unleashed” is a “firm go” for Seasons 2 and 3, with stations signing on for two-year deals.
