3-D provider Real D has raised an additional $20 million in private-equity funding, sources said.
The company has installed about 1,000 3-D systems at digital-cinema equipped theaters.
It has said it aims to have 4,000 installed by May 2009.
In March 2007, private-equity firm Shamrock Capital Growth Fund said it was investing $50 million in Real D.
