CAA will host Let’s Discuss Live, a special event that will take place Sept. 16, the same day as the Brooklyn Book Festival. The lineup will pair Reese Witherspoon with YouTuber Mamrie Hart to discuss their share Southern heritage and Witherspoon’s upcoming debut book Whiskey in a Teacup. Meanwhile, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before author Jenny Han will join The Favorite Sister author Jessica Knoll to chat about book-to-film adaptations. Modern-day civil rights leader DeRay McKesson and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F—k author Mark Manson will also participate in discussions, which will take place at Williamsburg’s William Vale Hotel.

ICM Partners has signed former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi for broadcast representation. Now a national security contributor for NBC News — as well as COO of ETS Global Risk Management — Figliuzzi’s accomplishments as a fed include: leading the bureau’s efforts to combat economic espionage in Silicon Valley, as well as its presence at the Boca Raton site of the nation’s first anthrax murder. This act led to the FBI’s largest ever HAZMAT evidence recovery effort. Figliuzzi also resolved a terror plot in Toledo, Ohio.

Alissa Ashley, a former MAC consultant who recently partnered with NYX Cosmetics to curate shades for its Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation line, which launched last month.
Cloe Feldman, whose YouTube channels CloeCouture and VivaLaCloe have more than 5.5 million combined subscribers, and who has 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
Brillstein Entertainment Partners has hired Kailey Marsh as a manager-producer. She ran her eponymously named Kailey Marsh Media for the past five years.
Harper Starling has signed with Chrome PR. The singer is featured on The Perry Twins’ “Euphoria,” which has topped Billboard’s Dance Club chart this summer.
Science Fair directors Cristina Costantini and Darren Foster have signed with Venice-based production company Saville Productions for U.S. commercial representation.
W Hollywood has tapped HL Group as its agency of record.
German director Ole Peters has signed with production company Interrogate as his first representation in the United States and Australia.
