Into the wild
CAA has signed wildlife expert Coyote Peterson, whose Brave Wilderness is YouTube’s top-rated wildlife channel, with more than 750 million views and 5.5 million subscribers. Through the Brave Wilderness brand, Peterson and business partner Mark Laivins produce several shows, including Beyond the Tide, Dragon Tails, Coyote’s Backyard, On Location and Breaking Trail, which won an Emmy for youth/teen program in 2015. Two videos featuring Peterson personally experiencing the insect sting pain index have gone viral: No. 4 “Cow Killer” (the nickname for the wingless wasp known as the velvet ant) has amassed 27.5 million views, and No. 1 “Bullet Ant” has more than 19 million so far. Coyote Peterson’s Brave Adventures, a collection of his craziest experiences, will be published in August by Mango Media. Peterson continues to be represented by Darren M. Richard of DMR Legal Counsel.
