Scribe Signs
Novelist and screenwriter Rafael Yglesias has signed with Verve. He most recently served as an executive producer on NBC’s Aquarius. In addition to penning 10 novels, Yglesias also wrote the screenplays for Peter Weir’s Fearless, Roman Polanski’s Death and the Maiden, Billie August’s 1998 version of Les Miserables, Albert and Allen Hughes’ From Hell and Walter Salles’ Dark Water. He continues to be managed by Russell Hollander of Hollander Entertainment.

Legacy of Promoting Films
Imax vp and head of creative Debi Struzan has joined full-service creative agency bpg as senior vp entertainment. In addition to her own experience at Imax collaborating with all the major studios on more than 150 major titles, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Wonder Woman and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Struzan’s father-in-law, famed artist Drew Struzan, drew all the posters for the Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Star Wars film franchises. At bpg, the younger Struzan will oversee the agency’s award-winning print department and be part of the executive team working on marketing and creative strategy for the integrated campaigns for all of its entertainment clients.
