News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch and his wife, Wendi Deng have reportedly sold their Long Island mansion, known as Rosehearty, over four years after first putting it on the market.
The Oyster Bay home, first purchased by the couple in 2003, is selling for a reported $9.1 million, down from the original asking price of $14.8 million, according to the real estate website Real Estalker.

The 1900s-era Colonial style mansion, partially decorated by Oval Office decorator Michael Smith, features 11 bedrooms, 7 and a half bathrooms, a 950-square foot guest house and rests on 4.6 acres. The grounds include a 50-foot swimming pool, waterside lit tennis court, eight car garage and a rolling lawn.
The report says the property records don’t yet reflect a change in ownership.
This isn’t the Murdoch’s only home. They also own a $44 million triplex on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan and a 8,651 square foot mansion in the mountains above Beverly Hills.
