Shine TV’s U.K. boss, Kelly Webb-Lamb, has announced that she will be leaving the company, part of the Endemol Shine Group, at the end of the year.
Webb-Lamb joined Shine as creative director in 2012 and was made managing director the following year.
In her three years at Shine TV, Webb-Lamb helped oversee an expanded slate including BAFTA-winning The Island with Bear Grylls and recent hit?Hunted? for U.K. broadcaster Channel 4. Other recently aired titles include the documentary series?All Change at Longleat for the BBC, daytime hit?Council House Crackdown?(also for the BBC) and?The Force: Manchester for Sky.
“I joined Shine TV with the ambition of defining the company as creators of brilliant popular factual television through impactful, standout shows,” said Webb-Lamb in a statement.

“I am hugely proud of what has been achieved, with a healthy slate including award-winning returning formats, a development pipeline with huge promise and a truly exceptional team in place to take this forward. So I believe I can now leave this on a high and take a break before seeing what the future holds.”
Richard Johnston, CEO of Endemol Shine U.K. offered Webb-Lamb his thanks and said she would be leaving Shine TV in “formidable shape to be taken forward by new leadership next year.”
He added: “We will all take the time over the next few months to explore who and what form this could best take.”
