Fox has rounded out its top development team, tapping USA Network executive Lindsay Sloane as co-head of drama development.
Sloane will jointly oversee creative and administrative aspects of Fox’s drama programming department alongside co-head Terence Carter, who arrived in March from NBC.
Additionally, Lee Hollin has been promoted to manager of drama programming.
Sloane replaces Rachel Bendavid, who briefly was co-head of the drama department with Carter before recently leaving the network.
Sloane will report to exec vp programming Matt Cherniss, who called her “a gifted scripted-series development executive with good taste and an impressive track record.”
Fox favored a dual-head model for its new development structure. This month, the network installed vps Suzanna Makkos and Marcus Wiley to co-head Fox’s comedy department in the wake of the exit of comedy topper Susan Levison.
Sloane was vp original scripted series programming at USA, where she found and developed the network’s hit series “Psych” and oversaw production of “The Dead Zone” and “The 4400.” Before USA, she was a vp at Gran Via Prods./Mark Johnson Prods., where she developed new series and oversaw production on “The Guardian.” (partialdiff)
