StarStream Promotes Lauren Russell to VP Production and Development

Lauren Russell has been promoted to vp production and development at StarStream.

Russell has a background in production, having produced several short films and web series including Janicza Bravo’s Pauline Alone and Caroline Fox’s This Old Thing.

Russell helped to bring two feature projects to Sundance Film Festival, including Jeff Baena’s Joshy and Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers.

“Lauren Russell started at StarStream two years ago, as my assistant,” read a statement from StarStream CEO Kim Leadford.

“In this short period of time, Lauren has: optioned a script that made it onto the Black List (Big Time Adolescence); helped produce three films and one television pilot; closed a complicated debt deal; and became a steady force in helping to shape the company’s operations,” Leadford said.
