Jason Goldberg has been promoted to chief creative officer of digital at STX, Sophie Watts, president of STX Entertainment, announced Monday.
Goldberg previously headed the production-finance company’s non-scripted television division, securing deals with networks including MTV, E!, NBC, Nat Geo and CMT.
Goldberg created and executive produced MTV’s Punk’d. His other producer credits include the TV series Beauty and The Geek and the feature film The Butterfly Effect.
Prior to STX, Goldberg co-founded and served as CEO of Katalyst, which created original digital content for brands like Pepsi, Intel and Levi’s.
