Warren will be the principal executive in charge of all fiscal functions and strategy for the multiplatform entertainment company. He is succeeding Rich Sullivan, who recently was named COO of STXdigital.
Warren joins STX from Discovery Communications, where he served as senior executive vp and oversaw the company’s OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network joint venture. Prior to that, he was CFO of Liz Claiborne and held senior executive positions at General Electric.
Warren will be located at STX’s Burbank headquarters and will begin his new position on April 3.
