NEW YORK — U.K. rock outfit Supergrass will release its new single, “Diamond Hoo Ha Man,” Jan. 14 internationally on 7-inch vinyl. An as-yet-untitled new album will arrive in March via Parlophone.
The set is the follow-up to 2005’s “Road to Rouen,” which debuted at No. 9 on the U.K. album chart.
Next month, Supergrass will return to live duty with a Dec. 9 appearance at XFM’s Winter Wonderland at London’s Brixton Academy, and a Dec. 20-21 stand at Oxford’s Town Hall.
During those dates, bassist Mick Quinn, who is recovering from a broken back suffered in a sleepwalking accident, will be replaced by Charly Coombes, the brother of Supergrass principals Gaz and Rob Coombes.
