TORONTO — Veteran Canadian indie distributor and co-production executive Tanya Kelen has launched her own shingle, Kelen Content, ahead of MIPCOM.
Kelen, most recently head of distribution at Breakthrough Entertainment, will shop over 100 half-hours of programming at the TV market for co-production, format sales and worldwide distribution.
The Toronto-based start-up’s slate of animation, lifestyle and factual fare includes 26 half-hours of the animated series “The Interns,” a Canada/Brazil co-production, and “Pids’ Puppets,” an adult-animated comedy from creators Mark Turowetz and David Lipsinki that also comprises 26 half-hours.
