Taye Diggs is being sued by his former managers at Authentic Talent and Literary Management, who claim the actor owes them commissions on projects like the recently premiered CW series All American after firing them this summer.
Diggs and ATLM began working together in June 2015, according to the complaint, and the parties agreed he would pay the firm 10 percent of his entertainment industry income.
The actor fired ATLM in July, and it claims he owes commissions on projects secured during their three-year relationship including “All American; Beauty and the Beast; Crossovers; 25 Words or Less and endorsement deals with Hallmark, Old Navy, and Nordstrom; Ozy Fest; and the Iris Awards.”
ATLM is suing for breach of oral contract and is asking the court to order an accounting of Diggs’ compensation in order to determine the amount of damages.
Reps for Diggs have not yet commented on the complaint, which is posted below.
