Technicolor Digital Cinema has signed agreements with Clearview Cinemas, IPic Entertainment and Cinemaworld to install digital-projection systems as part of its North American digital-cinema equipment deployment program.
Clearview Cinemas is a Chatham, N.J.-based exhibitor that operates 50 theaters with 254 screens. Vero Beach, Fla.-based Cinemaworld operates 32 screens in Florida and Rhode Island.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based IPic Entertainment is a young company whose first location is scheduled to open next month in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale. Additional locations are under development in California, Texas, Illinois, Ohio and Florida.
Each installation will feature Technicolor’s networked technology, which includes a satellite system for content delivery and the Technicolor Theatre Management System.
