TORONTO — Toronto International Film Festival co-director Cameron Bailey is to head up the jury at the prestigious Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal next month.
Bailey will be joined by U.S. filmmaker Kim Massee, Canadian filmmaker Kim N’Guyen, Lucie Amyot, programming director at Ontario French-language broadcaster TFO and Mario Fortin, executive director of Cinema Beaubien.
Together they will award the top prize Louve d’Or trophy, where U.S. director Sean Baker’s “Prince of Broadway” will compete against 17 other Canadian and foreign titles.
The 38th edition of the Festival du Nouveau Cinema will unspool 250 films from 48 countries during its Oct. 7-18 run.
